Set Life Goals for Success
I have seen people in my life who have only worked hard, very hard, but they could not improve their future. It seems there are quite a few such people in our world. The question now is, why do they fail despite working hard? Actually, if you have no goal in your life, you will not achieve success. If it is not clear to you what you want to be in life, you will not reach anywhere. Again, if you are not steadfast or active in achieving your goal after setting it, you may stumble even when you are close to success.
What do we want in life? What should our goals and objectives be? Every person needs to have an idea about this. Set goals to be successful in life, to be happy. Chasing something without a goal is a waste of time, money, and energy. When you set a goal, you can progress towards what you want to achieve and measure how far you have come. Gather your imagination and dreams. Now sit with yourself and see which dreams you really want to see in reality. Now make those specific goals and write them down. I repeat, I repeat, goals must be specific.
Here’s what you can do in this regard:
• Make your goal specific.
• Set realistic and time-based goals.
• Break down the main goal into smaller goals and set deadlines for achieving them.
• Plan your actions according to the importance of the goals.
• Track the progress of goal achievement.
• Always make it a habit to work with a set goal.

What to Do to Set Life Goals
The first thing you need to do to set a goal in life is to find out your inner special qualities. Most people fail to do this. Usually, we set goals based on what we see others doing or what others tell us to do. But you can never achieve success with such goals. Be always attentive to the kind of goals you are thinking of achieving. A person’s life is actually like a long journey. Without a goal in that journey, it becomes meaningless. Again, if you set a goal but cannot find the right way to achieve it and follow that path, life becomes meaningless. Therefore, finding the goal of life and progressing correctly towards that goal – both are equally important.
The goal should be such that it is achievable. Setting realistic goals brings focus to the work. Fantasies can never be ideal goals. Goals must always be achievable. Anything that is reasonable, comprehensible, and scientifically proven is always achievable. Goals cannot be set for overnight changes because no goal is achieved overnight. Goals must be bound within a time frame. This time frame will motivate you to achieve the goal. Periodically check the checklist to see if you have progressed as much as you intended. If the goal has not been achieved, plan how to fulfill it in the next step.
